Cristalla was a cover-up project, where once a building stood adjacent to the Cristalla complex covering the exposed CMU infill walls on the south elevation of the post-tensioned parking structure. Once the adjacent building was demolished, this wall was exposed and thus needed to be covered. Knight’s patented self-leveling feature made the transitions from CMU to smooth concrete slabs a simple problem to solve without the added expense of 10,000+ shims. Aluminum panels were then installed over the vertical girts, creating a flawless installation!
