Deer Park, WA – Knight Wall Systems today announced CI-PanelTek™, a new rainscreen framing system designed to accommodate large-scale, face-fastened panels up to 5’x12′, according to company president Doug Knight.

CI-PanelTek, which was developed to be used with myriad cladding options, offers larger anchoring surfaces, enabling two panels to be joined on one track. This versatile system features a continuous vertical ¾-inch rainscreen cavity plus an additional ¾-inch cavity created by the horizontal rail (total of 1.5″ cavity), providing efficient and effective use of exterior continuous insulation. As with all Knight façade systems, CI-PanelTek is a full featured, “drop-in solution” rainscreen.

“CI-PanelTek is truly a boon for installing vertically oriented cladding,” Knight said. “It’s a perfect fit for exposed fastener—or face-fastened—panels or siding systems of all kinds.”

Cladding options include Terreal-Knight Series Terra-Cotta, exposed-fastener phenolic panels, roll-formed (corrugated) metal siding, exposed-fastener/open-joint ACM panels, exposed-fastener cement composite panels, and cement board (i.e. Permabase®) with finishes ranging from acrylic stucco to natural aggregate set in acrylic binders, among many others. And the CI-PanelTek attachment system also may be specified and sold for use with non-Knight Series cladding.
