Designed for Projects Using Knight’s THERMAZEE® Thermally Isolated Z-Girt, INSULKEY™ Adapts to Any Insulation Depth

Deer Park, WA – Sep 11, 2025 – Knight Wall Systems today introduced INSULKEY™, a proprietary, pre-engineered insulation retention pin that adapts to any Knight THERMAZEE® and insulation depth combination, even accommodating girts that exceed insulation depth.

“INSULKEY secures any depth of insulation used with our THERMAZEE girt, adding to the overall integrity of the façade,” Knight Director of Sales, Engineering & Marketing Brian Nelson said. “We designed it to preserve the building envelope; it installs seamlessly without causing penetrations.”

Non-combustible and versatile, the slide-in-place design of INSULKEY ensures simple, fast installation without the need for specialized tools or installer training. And its streamlined design accelerates insulation projects, reducing labor time.

INSULKEY can also be used in tandem with Knight’s MFI® System rainscreen attachment.
